6 days ago · The notion that you can simply rely cloud storage or external is false, as your iPad's battery will drain much faster with constant down- and uploading, or you'll struggle with the cumbersome process of moving files between your iPad and an external drive. Get a 256GB model or get a 128GB* Pro. *128GB is, in my experience, enough for nearly
Maybe, maybe not. It all depends on internet availability and how much you want to depend on the cloud. I have a 5 year old 64gb iPad Pro and I’m finding the 64gb is not enough now as my habits/usage have changed over time. I’m also living in an area where mobile internet access is unreliable, so for me the cloud isn’t a dependable solution.
That being said, if you are on a budget, you should consider the 2022 iPhone SE or iPhone 12 and newer. 64GB might not be enough storage, especially if you plan on keeping a phone for 5 years. The iPhone 11 might not last for another 5 years as it is already a 3 year old phone and Apple usually stops supporting phones after 6 years.
At $700, you have to choose between an iPhone 12 mini with 128GB, an iPhone 12 with 64GB of storage, or an iPhone 13 mini with 128GB. At this juncture and higher, there's not much incentive to
Both the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini come with a base storage capacity of only 64GB, at the cost of $829 and $729 respectively. For comparison, the newly-announced OnePlus 8T , which costs around $700 comes with a base storage of 128GB, which is also the minimum storage option for the likes of Google Pixel 4a and many other 2020 smartphones.
There’s a reason why apple uses 64 gb as the base models. Cause it’s a lot of storage!! Lol. Having more then 64 gb just makes you think you need to carry every single photo, app, and whatever other document you feel you need on you at all times. I’ve had 64gb for the last 3 phones I’ve used, and it’s been more then enough.
I have the 64 gb and havent had it be full until recently (had it since 2019) i pay around 1 usd for icloud so all my photos and videos are backed up to that (and i take alot of photos and videos :) ) I also have alot of apps so i think 64gb is more than enough
64GB is a large capacity for a phone, but it’s not the best option. A phone with a larger storage capacity can hold more pictures, videos, and other files. It’s also important to consider the type of phone you’re buying. Some phones have a larger storage capacity but are less powerful or have fewer features.
